The 1970's was a time possibly more than any other where the variety of labels can be seen.

None of the standard bottles have an age statement on either the neck label or the front although certain boxes do state '10 years old'. Possibly the box has been changed as they have been passed through different hands ............maybe it's more of an indication that in those days, marketing & brand standards were not so much of a focus - the key was what was inside the glass !

They are categorised as being issued in the 1970's due to the bottle label's style of contents & ABV and none of the bottles have the 'award winning 1979' label which the early 1980's bottles possess.

Also included in this section are the two Samaroli bottles as well as another bottle which has the same style of label as Samaroli (as well as stating 10 years old) and possibly issued for a specific overseas market ?
