Whisky is straightforward ? one bottle looks like another ?......yes....and no !

In this section, whilst all the bottles shown are 10 year old bottles of Bruichladdich from the late 1980's & early 1990's, there are 28 variations.

As for bottle sizes, 6 differences from 35cl, 37.5cl, 70cl, 75cl, 1 Litre and even a rare 2 Litre version are included as well as the usual other changes in ABV%, labels and bottle seal. Certain bottles & front labels are actually identical, however the difference is shown on the reverse label or acompanying box which had a marketing promotion highlighted.

I have noticed on certain websites, people becoming interested in the bottle codes (usually at the base on the reverse side) - where these are legible, they are also detailed.
